Loveliest of Trees, the Cherry Now
Happy Easter, dear friends!
Here's a poem that reminds me of my dream childhood
when I used to be so happy...!!!

Loveliest of trees, the cherry now
Is hung with bloom along the bough,
And stands about the woodland ride
Wearing white for Eastertide.
가장 사랑스런 나무 벗나무가 시방
가지에 가득 꽃을 피워서,
숲속 승마길에 줄지어 서있네
부활절맞이 흰옷을 입고서.
Now, of my threescore years and ten,
Twenty will not come again,
And take from seventy springs a score,
It only leaves me fifty more.
나의 칠십 평생에서, 이제
스무해는 다시 돌아오지 않으리라
일흔번의 봄에서 스무해를 除하니
쉰번의 봄밖에 남지 않았구나.
And since to look at things in bloom
Fifty springs are little room,
About the woodlands I will go
To see the cherry hung with snow.
꽃핀것들을 바라보기엔
쉰번의 봄도 눈깜작 할 사이,
숲길을 둘러보러 나는 가리라
흰눈 가득 이고있는 벚나물 보러.

Lungi è dagli occhi miei
chi m'era gloria e vanto!
Or per le mute stanze
sempre lo cerco e chiamo
con pieno il cor di speranze?
Ma cerco invan, chiamo invan!
E il pianger m'è sì caro,
che di pianto sol nutro il cor.
Mi sembra, senza lui, triste ogni loco.
Notte mi sembra il giorno;
mi sembra gelo il foco.
Se pur talvolta spero
di darmi ad altra cura,
sol mi tormenta un pensiero:
Ma, senza lui, che farò?
Mi par così la vita vana cosa
senza il mio ben.
O happiness, lost with my beloved!
She is gone now.
But she was my glory and pride.
I search from room to room, calling her name.
Hope still lives in my heart.
But I search for her in vain!
And tears alone sustain my heart.
Every place seems sad without her.
I cannot tell night from day...
...and fire is like ice to me.
Sometimes I try to go my way alone
But a single thought torments me....
How shall I live without her?
Life has no meaning without my love.
You're always on my mind!!!!!!!!
